East City BMX is located barely 10 km's from the central city and is a handy 30 minutes away via public transport or 15 minutes away via private transport. From the Glen Innes train station, the East City BMX track is 5 minutes walk. Talk about handy!

East City BMX track is located within a picturesque public reserve and is therefore open to the public and BMX riders of all ages & nationalities 24/7. Whenever East City BMX isn't operating an organised event, the track may be ridden by all forms of NON-MOTORISED bicycles at no charge. When East City BMX does have an organised event or session, all we ask is a nominal fee of NZD$2 per rider to cover incidental costs such as power and lighting.
During the week of the 2013 BMX World Champs, most of the East City BMX crew will be busy at Vector Arena, but we will endeavour to provide Gate facilities whenever we can (NZD$2 per rider). Closer to the time, we will look to post a schedule of when practice gates will running. In the meantime, we welcome you all and hope you enjoy your stay in Auckland.
Wet Weather
Believe it ot not, we do occasionally get rain in Auckland ;-)
If the track wet or it is raining, the club committee simply asks that you use good judgement and decide of the track can be ridden safely without damage.
Vehicle Parking
If East City BMX personnel are on site, the track access gate may be open to personal vehicles for parking. If the access gate is closed and locked, parking is available on Howard Hunter Ave, Merton Road or Felton Mathew Ave.
For non life threatening injuries or illness, the closest medical clinic is less
than 3 km's away from the East City BMX track [approx 5 minutes].
